[F] Leiden KatMeet

After visiting a book market, Astrid and I ventured into the North End Pub. This was my second meet, and Astrid was the night's newbie. She isn't really involved in a.f.p., but I took her to see what all the talk is about ;-)

In the pub, the Mildes were already present, and shortly after us Martin's beard enterd, soon followed by the rest of him. Slowly the meet attenders were pouring in, amongst them organiser Jos.

After a few drinks we went to the corner where we were a bit more hidden from the other customers ;-). Soon, a big bag of manna was produced. Before and after dinner, there was also much inflating activity, resulting in ppink balloon light sabre fights.

There were talks about the Eurovision song contest (and even context), singing fish and the usual geeky stuff. A bit of mingling resulted in meeting a few new faces (to me, at least), amongst them the infamous other Michel, AKA Cybercat. With midnight nearing, it became necesary to catch the last train home.

It was a nice meet, and even Astrid had an enjoyable time (though she isn't a geek ;-). It will also be my last in a while, as most Benelux meets are planned at times I can't go *sob*.
